This past weekend, Kincaid Ready Mix had the privilege of donating concrete to the Veterans Community Village. This village, located at 89th and Troost, is a part of the Veterans Community Project (VCP) and sits on a 4.6-acre property purchased from the city’s land bank.
The village is comprised of 49 tiny houses which range in size from 240 to 320 square feet, meet all local city code requirements, and connect to city utility services. The Veteran residents live free of charge for up to two years while working closely with VCP case managers to resolve the issues that led to their homelessness.
As a company that is owned-and-operated by veterans, Kincaid Ready Mix places a great deal of emphasis on giving back to the very men and women who have selflessly protected our country over the years.
